Okay, then that scope of useage would make you the priest in this case. Therefore I ought to disclose that I am well past my prime in the expected functions of altar boy.

Nah, it's fun enough just getting to know you better....

Unfortunately for you and your doomed imagination the priesthood is not for me. I am not qualified after all to manage the coming and going of alter boys and there is this one extra small but significant point that though potentially and ruinously expensive and yes even time/energy-consuming I wish to reserve my right to have 2, 3, and yes up to 4 wives to dote over me in my old age.

Royalty, due to the additional expense and time, is excluded so queens, even those who were once supple young alter boys, don't make the short list.

God does, according to the bible anyway (SIDE NOTE: although frowned on in christian circles much in the bible appears to be frowned on in christian circles though so please remain unstunned at this disclosure) overlook this wife thing so you sadly and unfortunately will need to put yourself back at the end of a currently 3.1 billion person line and blow kisses from back there.

Lemme know if the above needs simplification for you or if that bible college degree can't wade through it

Point of spelling affects meaning.
Altar boys: boys who are trained to perform ritualistic mechanics during a catholic mass.

Alter boys: the psychological and/or physical result some Catholic priests have upon altar boys.

Actually the nominal Christian world (with or without bothering the scriptures) still gets to have their 2, 3, or 4 spouses if they wish, but merely serially instead of simultaneously. And that may be a tactical advantage of sorts, since a christian can hope to "trade up " when needed. (Or do muslims do the same thing, conceivably 2-4 wives at a time?) Either way, I can imagine a strategic advantage to redundancy of wives, at least if living in a tribe-raiding, goat-herding economy.

(laughing) aren't you the perceptive one

REAL christians don't need to get married at all

Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

BUT:

Happy is the husband of a good wife: for the number of his years is double.

Truly a Darwinian impasse

Your point is well taken on the issue of trade-up however it was my impression that divorce at a minimum kicks one out of the inner circle of the apostolic church and in a really really fun church gets one excommunicated from normal or routine church activities, thus encouraging one to seek spiritual satisfaction elsewhere. Another Darwinian impasse.

Not sure which version of the Bible you got this from but in the KJV it reads different.

8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come.

Jesus said, "yet" Did not say he wasn't going at all, just not with them at that time.

Julian, when someone is just trolling for an emotional reaction, accuracy is not the goal. Best to just try to have some fun with it.
