Ha ha Oh really? This ought to be good. What is it that makes me a hypocrite? Who am I trying to control? You've labeled me, now please justify it. I'm all ears.

Let me re-phrase that. The Right as a whole should be labeled as conservative hypocrites. People like you accuse the Left of things like "Not willing to agree to disagree." and wanting to "rule over them". Your own words. Yet I am sure if you, and people who think like you, had their way Gays wouldnt be allowed to marry or be in the military. the middle class and poor would be paying more taxes than the rich billionaires of this world, everyone in school would have to pray to a christian GOD, and no Mosques would be allowed around ground zero in NY. Those are just a few of the ways the so called Right, you know the people who are conservative and dont want big government, want to rule of the Left. Thats a conservative hypocrite. Dont want the government or left telling what to do, but I want the government to force everyone to be a conservative christian.

This may come as a shock to you, but I actually agree with much of what you say here.
Perhaps I'd better be labeled a Constitutionalist/Libertarian. I think New York can decide for itself what goes at Ground Zero. Gay marriage should be left up to the States , and i would not support it in my state. But I'd probably also want the government out of the marriage business all together. School prayer-State issue. Recreational drug use-State issue. Really, if we went strictly by the Constitution, the Christian Right would get most of what it wants in at least 40 States, by default. But guys like Rick Santorum want a "Christian" Federal Government to control everything, the Constitution be damned.
As for taxes, right now the top one percent of income earners account for 40% of all Federal income tax that the IRS collects. The bottom 50% pay little or nothing and get many "tax credits" that really amount to welfare. But truthfully, there should not be all of these taxes going to the Federal government to begin with. The Constitution simply does not authorize the Federal Government to do enough to justify all of these modern Federal taxes. And ALL taxes on ALL income (corporate or personal) should be outlawed. A national sales tax and tariffs would be more just. The Federal Government was never intended to be so personally involved in the lives of individual citizens. Nor should there be such an all powerful Federal agency like the IRS on our shores.
So I'm not sure if any of this absolves me from being a hypocrite or not.

...ah, conforming to 1Sam8 perfectly. They can remain bent, for all I care; it does not affect my status in the kingdom. I trust that they will make a complete hash of it, as Scripture suggests. I doubt that they could even find me, let alone rule me.
But, for anyone who might consider themselves primarily a citizen, of the USA, say, I feel for you. Open thine own eye, why don't you.

And just for the record, I pretty much agree with you, too.

You absolved my son. Seriously though. I for the most part agree with libertarians/constitutionalist. The only thing that made me vote for Obama is due to the fact that I think he is actually for the middle class when it comes to the economy. The whole thing that set me off about your original post quoting the blog article was how he pointed out how the left wants to rule over the right. Both want to rule over the country.

I appreciate your kind words. Personally, I don't think Obama gives a hoot about ANY class, and is a radical Leftist. But I've already covered that ground. But we agree that for the most part, both parties are a joke.
