I don't find "America is the exception" anywhere in this verse; or, for that matter, "Apostolic Pentecostalism," or...any other 'kingdom' assembled by human hands.

This describes most of the difficulty in changing ones mind, imo--applying relevant Scripture where it applies, and not assuming an exception. This doesn't mean that I don't love my country, but it might surely sound that way.

I'm not sure it has anything at all to do with world "systems" in a governmental aspect as much as world "culture".

Government systems are servants to the evolutional changes in their respective social cultures. Not the other way around.

I agree whole-heartedly there; I am just outside the culture. No longer attached to it in any way, including involvement in the Gov--except to obey the laws, as a guest--or the political system. I got Scrip for that if you need it? Seems pretty plain.
