Yes, there are racists in every party, but the GOP parades their racial ignorance on a national level. My family to this day doesn't understand how I can vote for Republicans.

Yes, our party needs help and hence the reason for the panel at CPAC.

But anyone who researched that particular panel knows that it turned real ugly, real fast.

When Republicans say they want to reduce welfare, social security benefits, disability benefits, yes there are blacks who automatically assume that the speaker has racist tendencies.

There is a lot of distrust of Republicans in the American "black community". It didn't get that way over night and if the GOP wants to include blacks in their growth and diversification, they are going to have to address their deep-seated racial "issues."

Contrary to popular belief, today's GOP is NOT the party of Lincoln.

Still, I'm glad to be a Republican and wouldn't have it any other way.
