Is it a sin to think something is a sin, if it really isn't?

Ha I think that is a central Q; do you mean for you (no) or for me (yes)?
Another reflection is that something can be a sin for me, and not for you.
(Possibly (often?) leading "me" to try to make this a sin for you)

I was thinking more about things that would be (or not) a sin for everyone, in God's eyes. Like eating shell fish.

I think that is a health thing, more than a "sin" thing. Eating a bottom-feeder?

I think the issue there might be that the truth changes according to prevailing conditions.

Re: Timmy Talk
If sin means to "miss the mark" then believing something untrue would be missing the mark.
The word sin can mean to be mistaken.
