More appropriately, I washed my hands for typing it.

Ok, since no one wants to address this, and we are in the "Islamic" thread,
I will say that "different God" might not be as relevant as "designing equal partners with God."

Would a Catholic who prays to Mary be also considered a "Trinny?"
I am ignorant here.
Also, right above your post, someone has called Christ their God?

That's classified as praying to nothing.
Or praying to a foreign and false god and
most cults practice praying to dead people.

Re: Same God or different God?

Muslims worship the same God that Jesus worshipped and they worship Him in the same way.

Re: Same God or different God?

The fact is that Jesus did not worship Allah. The Lord Almighty came in the form of human flesh, lived among us, suffered, died, rose again, and lives forever more. That is the Jesus that is described in the Bible. Not some superior prophet who paved the way for Mohammed to come and be the final messenger. Jesus Christ was God manifest in human flesh, and He was nothing less, and all the Bible points to that fact.

Ya, wasn't interested in picking that scab, really.
God has many names, and I think you post a "fact"
from fancy? My experience with Muslims is that they
talk less and follow more, frankly.

I gather that "trinny" doesn't really apply to a Catholic, then?
Not sure what a Muslim would say about a trinny, although
I'm pretty sure, actually--but a Muslim would credit even a
Catholic with recognizing the "same" God, not to say
"worshipping," as they have "joined partners with Allah."

I'm not really too interested in the argumentative
semantics of a trinny--Christ has made it plain who
He worships, and I find His words line up
just fine with the Qur'an, if the interpretations
often do not.

I mean, do you pray to Christ? No.

Re: Same God or different God?

I see. So now you deny that Jesus prayed and fasted?

If it was good enough for Jesus to do and example for you to do then it is good enough for us to do - thanks. Methinks you know not your own book.

Nice hair. Is that a "pentecostal" cut? Are you also one who teaches that those who have a beard (such as the beard that you also teach was plucked out for your sins) then that beard is not allowed on your pulpit?

Small wonder indeed that praying and fasting to Allah/ELOH/Eli/Elohim (such as exampled by Jesus) is also rejected.

Recommendation: Lose the hairspray, get your nose out of that 200-page manual of rules and regulations, kick those moneychangers up in missouri out onto the street to "minister" aka work, sink, or swim (and stop skimming generous salaries and retirement benefits from the offering plates), and then stick your nose in that book that you are supposed to know and study and teach from it and it alone.

Your message may be more effective that way.
