I'm happy with the way I phrased it. If you want to expound on it feel free though

Far be it from me, I hope; at least as it sits.

Re: Same God or different God?

Sheesh, you guys! Byrd parsed the Frog's sentence in a way not (I think) intended by the Frog! Here, let me help. (That's why I'm here!)

"If I say 'my God's name is Jesus' and you say 'my God's name is not', then surely we have different gods in the most basic sense." The second "my" is not Frog, it is the person Frog is talking to.

Sheesh.

Re: Same God or different God?

Speaking of names, ask any Trinitarian what God's name is. Think he'll say "Jesus"? Maybe one out of a thousand might. Most will say "Jehovah", "Yaweh", or some variation. So, do Trinnies worship a different God than Onesies?

However, if you affirm that everything about your God is the same as it is for my God except for a few things then I wouldn't be comfortable telling you we have different Gods. I would say we have the same God but you are wrong about a few things regarding him. That's a major difference.
bump.
And finally, although I'm pretty sure I get you,
would you expand "That's a major difference." ty
