Re: Favorite things about Spring
Fall and Winter are my favorite times of the year, I prefer the colder weather and people being dressed much more modestly in the community.... and I can breath so much better in the fall and winter especially....
But I do look forward to working in the yard, putting out my small little garden, and getting to be outside a lot more. There's a huge satisfaction one can get from getting dirty working in the yard, seeing the plants bloom and grow and the vegetables growing....
And the only thing I like about Summer is Tomato and Mayonnaise sandwiches, lol.

I particularly enjoy all the little animated birds, squirrels, and talking rabbits that bound through our back yard with endless joy. It makes me want to whistle while I work!

I particularly enjoy watching my wife (seven months pregnant) cleaning the fish the girls caught tonight... don't ask about the hammer...

Yep. She always fillets them that way - says it's easier. I don't do fish. LOL!

She has had them, but says they cant match electric... I have heard some others say that too. Many of my customers live on the lake and use electric knives to filet small crappie.

Re: Favorite things about Spring
Interesting! Walt's family is a huge group of fishing folks. His dad made me learn how to filet my own fish, in fact. I'm not much of a fisherman anymore tho, since he's passed on. Too bad, because I really enjoyed it. But I've never, ever seen anyone filet a fish with an electric knife. Not that it can't be done. Just never seen it done that way. Does it tear up the meat tho?

That's what I'm talkin bout!!
Can't wait to pick a fresh ripe tomato and make
a good sammich!!! Or even eat it fresh off the vine!
Love all the beautiful spring flowers blooming everywhere.
So many different kinds.
It's always wonderful to see green life come back to most
all trees, bushes after being bare looking all winter.
Here in the south though, we have plenty of evergreens...
pines, cedars, so we get to see greenery all year long.
