Yes. Weedpatch was for all the Migrant workers coming from Oklahoma during the Dust Bowl. Quiet a few families passed through there before spreading out around California's Farming Valley.

When I went to Kerman they told me to take a road out to Kerman,don't recall the names of the streets.when I get to the main road going thru Kerman they said turn left.I went down about 5 miles no church.I went back 5 miles and went about 5 miles in the opposite direction and came to the church.

How long ago was this? My Grandfather was the pastor there nearly 40 years ago or so.

They were having church in an old Lutheran church.It was not the UPC.It was the AWA.Had relatives that went to Stockton Bible College in 1964 also.

I do not know anything about the state of that church now. All I know is what I have been told by my father and grandfather.
