Re: The Hebraic View Of The Afterlife ?
There are three kinds of people in the world. Holy (those who walk in all of the light God gives them), Righteous (those who walk in all of the light that they know OF God) and the wicked. If you are Holy or Righteous, your soul goes to what WAS called Sheol or the grave. But since Jesus died, He went to Sheol and ministered to people there and sometimes they were rebellious. While He preached, He glorified Sheol on high. Now it is called Paradise which is where the one hanging on Jesus' right hand went. The wicked are automatically sent straight to hell. Now, when you die, you body stays in the ground, your spirit goes back to God who gave it, and you soul either goes to Hell, or Paradise. At the time of the Rapture, the Holy are taken out of Paradise, and they are put in heaven while the others are judged. That is what the Bible means when it says that the saints of the world would judge the world. If you want, message me and I will give you all of the Scripture to prove it. I may be young, but when you are close to Jesus, NOTHING is impossible!
