Walt and I had Red Lobster last night. We celebrated another year of a good CT Scan of his aorta. What did you have tonight? I had the create your own platter from the lunch menu - chicken strips and clam strips. Walt had the shrimp special where they made the shrimp 3 ways, including one in a pasta. He loved it.

I had the four course $15 special (clam chowder, caesar salad, shrimp and Eddie ate my dessert).

Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?
I could think of a number of places to go eat. After cutting back on portion sizes, sugar intake, and watching caloric intake, I'm already having to weed out several places.
But, while the subject is at hand, Chipotle sure sounds good tonight. A burrito bowl with chicken, cilantro rice, lettuce, onions, guac, cheese, sour cream, medium and mild salsa. Oh, so good...

You do know that you can always ask for a to-go container right from the beginning of the meal, right? My mom and I often go out for lunch. Alot of the time, we buy one lunch and split it. Then we still have left-overs to take home for Walt to eat for breakfast. I think all restaurants give you FAR too much food!

Chicken Fajitas. Spiced up some chicken tenders, threw them in the oven with sliced onions. Grated some sharp cheddar cheese, sour cream, Pico de gallo, hot sauce - put a flour tortilla in the toaster and eat it. I'm not hungry for dinner, so that's all you get tonight.

Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?
Big pot of gumbo and cornbread. Strawberry blintzes for dessert.
Tomorrow morning Western casserole. Eggs, cheddar cheese, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, black olives, ham and hash browns baked in a big Pyrex and served with fresh cheese, tomato slices and sour cream. I chopped the veggies this evening so it will be easy to do.
Anybody ever tried ziplock omelets? I was wanting to do them for some friends that we are having over but don't need a colossal flop with a house full of people so wanted to talk to some one who has actually made them. They sound easy and fun, with little clean up.

Tonight? Well, we have a bar that is about a 3 minute walk from our house that has incredible burgers and fries!
