I have been told that the Anti-Christ would have 3.5 years of peace, and then 3.5 years of the wrath of God poured out upon him. I would say that might be a variation of the same thing. He does have to have sometime for his kingdom to become established.
I am not sold on any particular position anymore, but I still am not post-trib in my consideration yet. I just pray for the strength to stand whatever trials and tests are thrown my way.
