If they continue GC I think I should partner with Sister Ruth formerly Reider now Harvey and sell some "Holy Hair Dolls" for little UPC girls. A Barbie knockoff with hair to their feet and a dress covering them from the top of the neck to the bottom of their ankles. Deluxe editions could come bundled with her children's books on dressing holy.
Couldn't they be prosecuted for that? Think child porn equivalent.

Or, the hair worn up, Bride of Frankenstein style with all the ribbons, rings, and misc adornments so often seen and complete with real hair spray smell!

Re: General Conference 2011 Kentucky

Oh yes, the other things they could sell: Photographs!

Think of the typical theme park where some employee will stop and snap your picture and then offer to sell it to you when your leaving. Or the classic Roller Coaster pic which snaps one just as as your going down the first big dip for the purpose of getting that look of horror/delight typically seen on a persons face. They could take "Worship Pictures" where photographers would be trolling the alter snapping pictures of folks in intense worship then selling it to them for 25-50 bucks a pop in back, or, if it is a really bad pic charging 50-100 to NOT show it.

I don't see any difference between this and "the man" holding the mike in the face of someone who has their eyes closed, almost unconscious, speaking in tongues over the PA system...

Disneyland does nothing for me? Then why have I been going for all these years?

I’m sorry, I expect to pay for entertainment but I also expect the gospel to remain free and for whosever will come. Rev 22:17 says, "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."

When the Spirit says "Come" but the bride says "stop and pay at the door," IMHO, we've denigrated the gospel, our worship and preaching to the level of entertainment.

Already got 'em for my daughters in the form of Repunzel dolls. Got the books on her too...

We're all set...

Why don't we all just start calling her "The woman formerly known as Reider". Everyone will know who we're talking about.

Live streaming is dirt cheap to do these days. Trust me, this is not about covering the cost of the technology.

I want the dolls... to preserve history.

Better if they were pull-string.
