I dis agree about the hamburgers...Stay away from em...they taste good..
they are full of the wrong ingredients..Fats...
All the good foods are in the produce section of your grocers store..all the bad foods are filled with sugar salts and preservatives designed not intentionally to enlarge your waist line..the best meats are frozen or fresh ..

Re: Alcohol
I do not drink at all and have no desire or intention on ever doing so. What i have come to realize is that there are cultures where people drink regularly yet it is unacceptable to become intoxicated. In those cultures they have little problems with alcohol. It is obvious that alcohol is a big problem in the US. Therefore, to avoid any association with the wickedness of this age, i avoid alcohol.

My wife went on youth mission trip to Brazil when she was a teen. The youth group hosting them actually brought out wine during one of their lunches at which point the American pastor in charge made a big show about how "HIS youth would not partake!". The point is is that it was not even an issue down there yet a heaven and hell one up here.

Bingo. I think I started a thread to this effect a couple months ago.

Re: Alcohol
I grew up with Catholic parents, from the time I was 12 or so we had a little glass or wine or champange, or maybe creme de menth (not sure how to spell it) on special occaisons. Kinda of a family tradition,.
