Nah. Some do, some don't. And the name calling and bashing certainly comes from the liberal camp as well. Liberally, you might say.

Shame on you, canam.  Politics shouldn't come before Christianity.
I don't recall reading about the early Christians organizing uprisings against their persecutors. Rather, they tried to convert them. And many died doing so.
This is what bothers me most about Christians dabbling in politics - they tend to take on the vicious attitudes of the SECULAR world. It's not godly, no matter which side of the fence you're on. If you hate your brother because of his political views, you stand just as much chance of being lost as the next sinner.
Pray for the President. Maybe you'll be able to feel compassion rather than hatred. There's something about praying for people that pushes out hatred and ill will.

Yup! I had to pray when I did not care for the people's choice of who got the Presidential seat. It's unfair that some have resorted to hatred. Or was hatred always there? In any case who am I to say...but I did ask and I got answers. Thanks
