Amen sister.

At about 2:22 when she hit "calvary," I almost hit my feet. I come alive.

Amen, Bro. S, I know what you mean. And a few other places. Some through
the water, some through the flood, some through the fire but ALL through the Blood!

Yes, amen.

The whole song was a blessing.

I remember Nancy from many years ago during the tent revival days of the early 1960s. She would have never been caught dead in Pants or facially made up the way she appeared in this clip. She and her family were very strong (outward) holiness in those days.

We are raising a generation down here in Babylon that knows nothing of the glory of the destroyed temple back in Jerusalem.

Re: This Song Blessed Me Today!!

Bro. Strange ,
There used to be a time when the old timers sought God for guidance and leading of the
Holy Ghost, in everything. But through the years it has been made manifest when people
are following a movement, led by a man or men. When those in leadership decide for the
people what they can do and what they can't do, you've got man's leading. Just as the
kings of the OT, there were those who were good kings and those who not good kings.
There were those who walked in the ways of their fathers, whether good or bad.

Many years, (over fifty yrs), a minister tried to overrule what my husband to be and I
were praying about. (our future). My fiance' came to me one night and said, " I have de-
cided that we are going to .......! We were asking God about a matter. I said, "Then you
feel that that is the answer God has given you!. He said, "I didn't say that, I said, I have
decided........!. I said, We agreed to pray together about this and now you tell me YOU
have decided, but you tell me you didn't get your answer from GOD. I am afraid to marry
a man that is NOT willing to wait on an answer from GOD. He then broke down and told
me he had already told his mother he felt the LORD would have us ........! I felt the wit-
ness of the Holy Ghost when he told me that! How we have thanked GOD through the
years that we let GOD and not man make the decision for us. The man who pastored the
church where he received the Holy Ghost, had got him aside and told him that he needed
to tell me that HE as the man should TELL me, not allow me to say anything about it. I
knew he had listened to someone because his whole misdemeanor was different. Neither
of us had, had the Holy Ghost very long. Many times through the years since, I have seen
man/men make decisions that have effected whole movements which later was made mani-
fest that it was not of GOD.

I would not judge Nancy Harmon or the movement she was raised in. That's is between
her/them and GOD. I do remember when that movement turned another direction. Those
people had a measure of truth, and in our town they LOOKED much like we did, in dress,
etc. Those differences in doctrine, spoke volumes in the coming years. The spirit of many
of those elders of the A of G in our town (now city) caused a disgust for our people.

Those elders taught so against us that the younger are nothing like THEY used to be. I
doubt they ever thought of what they were doing to their children. I am not talking just
about the way they looked, but the very spirit they portray today. There are exceptions.

But when the elders die out, a new generation will arise that either know GOD,in SPIRIT
and IN Truth, or it will be a generation that knows not the TRUE and LIVING GOD for
themselves. TIME WILL TELL!

WE had better have a STRONG PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with ALMIGHTY GOD for our-
selves, regardless of what others choose to do.

I have lived long enough to see the results of many things. SEEK GOD with all of your
heart! Call upon HIM WHILE HE IS NEAR! WHILE HE CAN BE FOUND!

This is not speaking against Nancy Harmon or any particular person. I am not critici-
zing anyone individually or otherwise. I believe she has the Spirit flowing from inside. I
felt it as it came out her mouth. From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Many people in movements have followed men or movements and although they received
the HOLY GHOST, they did not allow the SPIRIT to lead them. They were led by man/men
who led/followed MOVEMENTS! I WANT TO BE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD! In
the OT, holy men spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost, but now, we can individ-
ually be led by the SPIRIT of GOD!

If BLIND leaders lead BLINDLY, those who are following them will fall into error also.

I thank GOD that we didn't listen to a man who wanted to TELL us what he wanted us
to do. WE are still LOOKING UNTO JESUS, THE AUTHOR AND THE FINISHER OF OUR FAITH!
I also thank GOD for the family HE LET (allowed, permitted me to be born into!)
They were followers of the SPIRIT and trained us up in the way we SHOULD go. THEN
when I was OLDER, I did not depart from it! May all who come behind us find us faithful!
To whom much is given, much shall be required. Jesus paid it all, ALL to HIM I owe!

WOW...WOW...WOW!!!

Great post. Great post. Great Post, sister Nancy. I soaked in every word that poured out of a pure heart refined through many years of trials and testings.

This younger generation should listen to your very wise words very, very at tentatively.

Re: This Song Blessed Me Today!!

Sis Falla, I hope you're posting them on FB. I can't watch YouTube vids through my employer's network.

Someone else you might enjoy is someone named Madeline Joyce Summers, commonly known as Joyce Summers. Her song "That Great Celebration" is a favorite of mine and heard it last summer on iTunes radio.

Not to distract from your original post, but her website is http://joycesummers.com/.

Re: This Song Blessed Me Today!!

A dear elderly minister and neighboring pastor friend of my late pastor father, said he saw many that ran on ahead and passed him by, but it was so sad when as he continued on down the Path of Life, he met them as they turned back and passed him now going in the opposite direction. I never forgot that.

My late father would say he never wanted to get ahead of the LORD, but sometimes he wondered if he hadn't dragged his feet. I was near him all my life and I don't think he did. After all, he and Mom had eleven children to consider. You can't travel too fast when you are carrying that many. But they were carrying God's heritage. (Children are the heritage of the LORD).

Years later their children helped carry them and continue the work they began in 1958, beginning with themselves and their eleven children. (They took the famly alter from their four walls and shared it with the community in which they would raise their eleven children). Made it a better place for generations to come. Not only their children but their grandchildren, great-grand children, and now great-great grandchild.

The church they founded in 1958 is where some of Their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-grandchild still attend. Four generations! (HIS TRUTH is MARCHING ON! GLORY, GLORY, HALLELUJAH, HIS TRUTH IS MARCHING ON!!!) The WORD OF THE LORD ENDURETH FOREVER! IF WE WILL DO OUR PART, GOD WILL DO HIS! HIS PROMISHES NEVER FAIL! HIS COMMANDMENTS ARE NOT GRIEVEOUS!
