I stand by what I said. What you said is different in that no one gets any praise. Going to the pulpit and talking about all this negative stuff makes you sound like a whiner.
However, going to the pulpit as a pastor (or even your wife and/or kids) to say MY this or MY that in terms of the effort and sacrifice others are making, makes you look like YOU are the one who thinks you deserve credit for creating something instead of giving the praise to the Lord Jesus.
It is a larger ego issue because...well...go re-read my post.
THAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU READ IT TOO UNLESS YOU HAVE ME ON IGNORE!

There is no vision and mission among the workers if the leader is a narcissisist who believes that people are only stepping stones to help them achieve noteriety, praise and whatever else.
Especially in the church, nothing is me or mine, it is the Lords, and not subject to be lorded over. My praise singers, my choir, my sound men, my ushers, my sunday school teachers, my ministers, my saints, my church...
...glory to God.

You should have received royalties from that song. That song was identifiable with CLC when they "made it big."

I know you didn't write it....however, that song was the defining song for them. Like Tramaine can never go to a church and not sing, "Changed," they could not go to a church and not sing, "Ride on King Jesus."
Was your name on any of the CLC projects??

Probably not i never looked really. i can tell you though that my choir was singing all the songs they took to the streets long before. I use to go their and do workshops- several. Sherri has always been very appreciative to me for making clc yc what it was in that era but i say "to God be the glory" it's his kingdom not mine
