Re: A Sense of Dread

... and further more... there is no such thing as posting on the wrong thread. There is no rule that says where I can and cannot post. In the land of the free and the home of the brave, I can post where I want to, when I want to. And you can tell 'em all I said so!

However.....I also think his "dread" is more for himself and not necessarily for all or any of us. He feels something, so he feels something. For me, the only thing he should do with this is pray over it and not necessarily come on here and freak some people out....and this kind of thing always does.

I'll tell you this, though, if anyone thinks that 9-11 was the last time something like that happens in America, or that it's the worst thing that will ever happen, they're totally wrong. It's only a matter of time....in my opinion.
The sky is falling the sky is falling, NOW and I agree on something.

But that's not doom-n-gloom and the-sky-is-falling. It's just the reality of the limitations of any government, including the United States, to completely prevent terrorists from doing harm. It just isn't realistic to think that they won't strike us again.

But I would LOVE to be wrong, and who knows...I just might be.

It will never be "false" because something somewhere is "going to happen." It's a self fulfilling prophecy. Bad stuff's always gonna happen. Remember the age old adage: "There's always an Arquillian Battle Cruiser, or a Corillian Death Ray, or an intergalactic plague that is about to wipe out all life on this miserable little planet."

Words to the wise...

And the Earth could be destroyed to make way for an interstellar freeway as well.
