But that's not doom-n-gloom and the-sky-is-falling. It's just the reality of the limitations of any government, including the United States, to completely prevent terrorists from doing harm. It just isn't realistic to think that they won't strike us again.
But I would LOVE to be wrong, and who knows...I just might be.

It will never be "false" because something somewhere is "going to happen." It's a self fulfilling prophecy. Bad stuff's always gonna happen. Remember the age old adage: "There's always an Arquillian Battle Cruiser, or a Corillian Death Ray, or an intergalactic plague that is about to wipe out all life on this miserable little planet."
