I'm not Apostolic. I am, I hope, friendly toward Apostolics and a friend of Apostolics. If this were an Apostolics-only forum, wouldn't it just be AF or AOF, not AFF? Guess it could be OAF... but I like AFF, personally.
The middle F stands for not ... Jesus ate with publicans and sinners. I don't understand why some people don't like to post with them. Put the people you don't like on ignore and move on with life.

Well, we've all "been there and done that." Now, since we've sought our own salvation according to God's revelation to us and not someone else, we all like to gather and have diverse conversations! I don't think the expectation is for everyone here on the forum to "measure up" as we used to be told elsewhere.
Apostolic Friends Forum is perfect, no need to change it...

On a more serious note - I think this forum represents the fact that the definition of Apostolic is changing. It no longer represents just the ones who believe the typical Pentecostal doctrine + standards. There are now a lot of people who consider themselves Apostolic, but don't tack on the standards, etc.
Maybe it's time for you all to change your label? It's happened before, after all. That's why the change from Pentecostal to Apostolic. Because too many people were calling themselves Pentecostals, but not toe-ing the required line. Maybe it's time for a new name again?
