Re: www.evidentialfaith.com
Read your review of Jesus Manifesto. So far I've only read (and posted) the essay by Sweet. Not a HUGE Viola fan (moreso a Sweet fan), but if the book is anything like the essay, it will put me on my face and fire me up at the same time. Take us back to the core. Strip aside all the trappings. It's all about Jesus.

It's been a little while since I've spoken to Rev. Sabin. We have had some very informative exchanges concerning soteriological issues. I'll, of course, not attempt to speak for him, but will say I am confident he has come to very different understandings than he has held in the past regarding the new birth. Last we talked he no longer adhered to the traditional UPC water/spirit new birth position but was a strong justification by faith alone advocate. To the best of my knowledge, he still holds to a 'oneness' view of the Godhead.
I've been wanting to get back in touch with him. The mention of his name here just might prompt me to do so. I pray he is in good health.
God bless

Re: www.evidentialfaith.com
Great thoughts Adino. I uploaded this of Sabin last night.
Here Dr. Sabin responds to arguments made on the John Ankerberg Show with Nathaniel Urshan as well as Walter Martin and Calvin Beisener. His reply was recorded live in 1986 at a Oneness symposium. Here you see Sabin expose the weakness of the Trinity when Calvin Beisner and Walter Martin both reject the eternal regeneration of the second person of the Trinity. Sabin makes the point that Beisner contradicts prior written material on that subject (God in Three Persons) He also notes that Martin, Beisner and Ankerberg were give the majority of the time to speak as well.
These are some good thoughts that can help balance our perspective of this debate.

Re: www.evidentialfaith.com
Debating Sabin on salvation would be like debating a baptist or reformed then I guess.

I dont think so ... I think someone with a "PCI" view from a Oneness background brings a different dynamic ... into such a debate ... one that I think many 3 steppers really don't want to confront.

I enjoy it PO. I really think Sabin's debates with Bowman are his better ones. I have learned so much from him over the years. Esp about the man Christ Jesus. He has a lecture out somewhere on the prophetic anticipation of Jesus that is awesome as well.

If you have any suggestions or ideas, please let me know. My website is not a place about James N Anderson it is about Truth and Light. I am humbled just to be saved and in the hand of God. I have been blessed to study theology and religion at Liberty University and Jackson College of Ministries. I also have certification in Computer Information Systems (CIS) from Northeast Texas Community College. I love to teach, debate and do bible studies. but my ministry and website is about cultural and doctrinal apologetics in an increasingly secular society. In our dialogue with culture we must be equipped with apologetics. It is about proclaiming and knowing God's truth. Truth is the only thing that can literally set men free (e.g. John 14:6).
If you would be so kind, forward the link to a friend. If you know of someone dealing cultural issues I have an audio mp3 that you can download or listen online that deals with God, Bible, Truth, and Postmodernism.
