Should Churches Teach On Sex ?
In our world today ,there are people with abnormal sexual addictions and probelms. And alot married couples today are not having normal relations in the intimacy department.
Now in the church these sort of issues exist ,although sex and human sexuality is considered a taboo subject to discuss in the church.
Should churches teach on sex ?
Sex in it's proper place is a gift from God and the Bible is far from silent on the issue of Human Sexuality.

Good questing~ Lucky my parents were not shy on the subject, so they taught us kids. Likewise my husband and I are very open with our kids on the subject of sex. So where do kids go if their parents wont be open and honest, well most tend to look towards their friends for advice, not a good thing.
I have no problem with a church or school teaching as long as the parents give an ok and the person given the info out is a nurse. They should go beyond what the bible teaches on the subject, this would included birth control, STD etc.

A UPCI group has a good set of teachings called "Worth the Wait". We used these materials w/ our youth group at my dad's church.

I believe we should teach on the subject, and we do.
If my youth leader is teaching on it, I ask that he make parents aware of the subject matter.

Or even just as important - - RELATIONSHIPS!
My son and his fiancé are going through counseling now before their upcoming wedding. It's awesome and I think every couple should go through something like this before they are granted a marriage license!!!
The church has shied away from addressing relationships and intimate relationships far too long and now have issues that they don't know how to handle cropping up in all areas!

Well alot of folks come to Christ from differents backgrounds ,and many folks have misconceptions about the subject.
And the truth be known alot of married couples are experienced major frustrations in this area ,and are not enjoying a healthy sex -life the way God meant them to.
Yes if Youth leaders teach on the subject ,they need the parent's permission.

It must be done in good taste ... and is probably best when men speak w/ men ... women w/ women ....
I know of one pastoring couple that was very extreme .... they had a weekend seminar ...
The Sister in question gave specific directions to the other sisters .... and then instructed the ladies to go back to their rooms and follow them ... the kicker is they were then asked to share their experience, with the ladies group, the next day, as feedback.
