prayers after illness

Good morning everyone: My prayer request today is for myself (having just had a stroke two months ago at age 47) and for my family. My family is not apostolic, we attend a Baptist Church who is non-believing about Holy Spirit and apostolic teachings, however, I know there is more than what I have had in the past 15 years. I am a seeker who has had the glorious Holy Spirit speaking to me in the past year though since my stroke I have not been able to concentrate and find the blessings of the Holy Spirit and understanding of the Word of the Bible. I am asking for the ability to hear the Holy Spirit, to feel Him with me, and if the gift is available to me the gift of tongues. I want to be able to lead my family closer to God and to be a guiding light for the Lord. I am totally thankful for my stroke as I am seeking Him more and more every day but I almost feel that the more I seek him the more Satan is at work and I am struggling with getting past him to get to the Lord. Please lift me up and my family. Praise God for you all and this website to be able to seek the apostolic Love of God and hopefully find my Lord through your prayers. Thank you!
