SNOW!!!!!!!!!!

Memphis got a snow surprise this morning!

We have about three inches and it's beautiful! All the trees are white!

I rode to work with a guy and we made it okay, but there is no way I would drive in it.

We're expecting more snow this afternoon and tonight.

They are closing work, SO.....now I have to get back home!

I wish they would close down where hubby works and send them home. When he left for work this morning at 5:30, there was nothing.... now we have 4 inches on the ground and it's still snowing.

I hadn't watched the weather forecast since early Saturday-- so I didn't know if they were predicting this or not. I did check it a few minutes ago, and there's a chance of sleet/snow mix up to 8 inches by nightfall.

I hate that Michael isn't gonna get to go out to play in it.

Kara has already said when he gets up she is gonna go fill my large stainless steel bowls with snow to bring in for him to make a small snowman-- then she will take it outside for him and put it outside his bedroom window.

This snow is pale in comparison to DC, but it's a lot for this area!

We have between two and a half and three feet, and more expected on Tuesday. Hearing a lot of reports of buildings collapsing under the weight of the snow.

My first cousin and her husband are spending their first year in D.C. - he's Navy working at Pentagon - she said Friday they were expecting just what they got!!! I like snow, but I don't want that much at one time!!! Hope Blockbuster does a "blockbuster" business today!!!!!! I'm home til roads are clear and safe!! Enjoy Mid-South!!!!
