Whomever would do that needs a refresher course in what is Godly. However, to imply that the only divisiveness is coming from the conservative camp is a grave error.
Additionally, I would suspect that the passing of the resolution will hurt the Missionaries much more than had it not passed by simple virtue of those that may leave. Again, I don't think too many are going to actually 'leave' but that remains to be seen.

If somehow I misunderstood your post then I apologize.... But it wasn't brought up by the "YeS" guys three years in a row... I also mentioned this on the another thread where you posted it with no response from you...

Hey, man... be patient! We were in revival and had a blowout service. Didn't get home until late!

Okay, D, let me help you here. You're a little 'rough around the edges' with your posting but knowing who you are helps. I'm not following you around anywhere... I'm just going to look at the active threads.
Hope that puts your mind at ease!

One of my disappointments with this thread is that questioning LB is wrong, but nothings been mentioned how wrong it was to judge another man's church by the way "it looks".
KP's church hasn't let down on Bibilical teachings - he still preaches Jesus name baptism and infiling of the Holy Ghost. Maybe he doesn't inforce made standards and to imply what LB did is wrong.
So this thread isn't just about speaking poorly of LB.

After listening to the introduction of a sermon where he talks about internet sexual predators without mentioning internet should be banned, I pretty much tune him out.
He is a walking contradiciton on the tv issue. Get back with me when he gets a backbone of consitency, and ot just consistency wrong on the tv issue.

Up until now I have pretty much stayed out of this current fray, I had a weird dream (for another thread) that scared me so I am staying low key.
But passing the resolution wasn't the issue, but what they believed about passing the resolution is the issue. If it wasn't Resolution 4 it would be something else, because these brethren have chosen a certain outlook, philosophy that determines their reaction to these isssues. Now that is the real battle, not the resolution.
As preachers we are always telling people that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spirits. How about these guys actually follow through and pick the right enemy and right battle.
And by the way my brother is not my enemy.

There were people who saw the hypocrisy and double standard who voted for tv when they realized the internet stance did not stand up to established principle for television. He influenced some on the fence to vote in favor of the res.
