There is no such thing as a libertarian "spirit." However, in terms of my view of the American government, I do take a Libertarian view, i.e. that the government has no constitutional authority in such matters.

the act of eating releases chemicals

did God make us fertilizer producers?

please. where did you get this notion that smoking opens a person up to spirits?

Now I do belive that drugs can have that impact. any drug that alters conscience can open one up to spiritual issues. but smoke? that doesnt make any sense.

do you really think saying things like "it has been said" is a valid argument?

Yes, I am politically a Libertarian. I believe it is not the government's responsibility to protect people from themselves and that the government has no constitutional authority to legislate either for or against the ingestion of any kind of plant matter.

You have the right to be wrong about this, too. After all, the heart (the seat of emotions/feelings) is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked.

Well, whether the process of burning cannabis produces a lot of chemicals (there's no such thing as "alot") is not particularly relevant here. Whether it might affect one's genes and hormones (cannabis does not effect, bring about, genetics or hormones) is also not particularly relevant since there are legal psychotropic medications that do very much the same thing.

Chan you are a good sport.I did pick up on the Libertarianism.Sorry but I have heard it so much of my life I recognize it well
I don't care for mind altering or physically intergrating chemicals.I don't feel God made us to be lab rats for the wide world of medicine.I do however think that more money could be poured into research and things created that had less side effects.Face it most medications developed by drug companies for anyone with a fatal illiness are outrageously overpriced.Just one card or thirty pills of Norvair cost a friend of mine eight hundred and fifty dollars.Sadly she is going to have to take this or another like it until either God heals her or she dies from the disease.
Where marijuana is concerned if the chemicals in canabis were isolated and put into an oral formula it would probably work much better or even an oral inhaler or something that works in a nebulizer. It is possible just not available.

I'd like to clear up one of the myths about marijuana: that it kills ... uh, that it kills brain... thing-a-majigs. Brain ... uh. What was I talking about, again?
