I'll tell you what I find strange. As a progressive, most conservatives are typically extremely patriotic, pro-America, pro-constitution, pro-liberty, and pro-rule of law. Normally, y'all are beating us in the head with an American flag while singing the National Anthem! However, all over the internet liberals and progressives are seeing something very interesting. The conservatives that we used to be able to count on for being hyper-patriotic and pro-American have changed. They are praising Russia (a nation hostile to our interests), praising Putin (a murderous dictator), and laughing at American rule of law. It's like someone slipped a little fascism in their morning coffee. Suddenly, we liberals seem to be the most pro-American, pro-America's interests, pro-rule of law, and pro-justice. And you know what...the conservatives spend half their time talking down nearly every U.S. establishment there is from the intelligence community to the local city worker.
Suddenly conservatives have condemned and dismissed our intelligence community but proudly accept conspiracy theories about Hillary's child sex rings, Obama not being an American citizen, and the crazy notions that the Democrats are the darkest conspiratorial force on earth.
Even to the point of accepting aid from the enemy to defeat Democrats politically. It's a hysteria.

You know what we've noticed? The Democrats loved the Russians, until they could use them as a wedge issue to try and take down Trump.
As for government, conservatives have always had a healthy mistrust of those in power. It goes right back to the founding fathers and the Constitution. The Constitution was written as a document to limit the power of government. The fact is, we have leftists and communists (sometimes one and the same) that have infiltrated our government system, from the top down.
Regarding the bold above, tell me how supporting seditious groups like BLM is pro-rule of law? Tell me how enabling rioters to tear apart cities is pro-rule of law? Tell me how giving military equipment and training to hostile countries like Iran is pro-America or pro-America's interest? Tell me how allowing Iran to become nuclear is pro-America or pro-America's interest? How about all of our taxpayer money that was handed over to Iran?
If you really believe the Dems support any of those things, you're deluding yourself.

I think a lot of cons. have lost that American pride because that they have watched the nation they loved go down the drain. My grandparents used to go to bed with the door open at night. Just a couple of weeks ago there was a man tackled right by their house running from the cops (probably drug related). This is a rural town of less than 7,000 people. This country has created a system that gives incentives to have poor work habits and unwed pregnancies. Liberals care more about saving the environment than doing right by their fellow man.
I personally don't feel like Trump is going to solve our problems. When people begin to make a stance in their personal lives for what is right I think that will be a start. It is God that makes a nation great. Our nation flourished while it had fundamentally Christian ideals, but in the last decades we have watched liberals who feel that the def. of liberty means freedom of choice no matter how vile, erode us from within.
I realize that you cannot legislate Christianity, but when people turn from pleasing God they will soon perish.

I get that. But JA predicted there wouldn't be an election -- there was one, regardless of the liberal on here who doesn't believe it was a legitimate election. And JA predicted that not only would there be no election, but that the election would be replaced by an entirely new system -- didn't happen.
But, there are still 700 years, so a lot could happen in that timeframe.

Who's praising Russia and Putin? I don't know many conservatives who have done this. Sure, there's the comments about Putin's stance on homosexuality, but it's a stretch to claim conservatives are "praising" Russia and Putin.
And while we're on the subject, obama and Putin used to be BFFs. Mr. "Flexibility" was very complimentary of Putin when he was first elected in 2009.
"I am aware of not only the extraordinary work that you've done on behalf of the Russian people in your previous role as prime minis-, uh, as president, but in your current role as prime minister," obama said.
obama also praised Putin and Russia's help on the disastrous Iran deal, saying it wouldn't have been done without Putin's help.
I don't remember seeing all you libs up in arms about obama's, and Hillary's, love for Putin and Russia.

I am an avid news follower and do not see what you state at all. Donald Trump said complimentary things about Putin and doesn't seem to have a clue to how dangerous he is but he is the only Republican I know doing that. All of his cabinet appointees in security and the Secretary of State and Ambassador to the United Nations have made it clear the Putin is evil and the evil deeds Russia is involved in from the Crimea to Syria, etc.
So I think it is not correct to say that all of a sudden conservatives are embracing Putin.

i don't mind you being a liberal... some of my best friends.... but that word Progressive means something. It means something utterly dark and dangerous. please distance yourself from that.
