Re: The Crux of the Pro-tithe Argument
There is no Scripture that says if you don't pay your tithes you will be lost.
Tithe paying, giving to the work of the Lord or the House of the Lord is a prosperity issue.
You WILL go broke, if you don't pay your tithes...
You WILL have car problems if you don't give tithe
Tithing is a faith issue...
If you cant pay tithe, having faith that God will provide, then you will have issues in other areas of faith.

Re: The Crux of the Pro-tithe Argument
Last week I didn’t get an envelope. I put it in the offering bag.

Are there any scriptures that say you WILL go broke if you don't pay your tithes?
Or that you WILL have car trouble if you don't give tithe?
Or that if you can't pay tithe having faith that God will provide then you will have issues in other areas of faith?

Obviously Balaam wasn’t paying tithes. The scripture is clear.
Balaam was having trouble with his transportation.
His donkey just wouldn’t do right.
He probably wasn’t paying tithes.

Balaam was a sorcerer, he doesn’t count.

You don’t get credit for it then.
You have to file a form 10-90 revision. Otherwise your tithes will go to the church instead of the pastor. Your accountant should be able to walk you through it.

Where in the Bible does it say that sorcerers can’t go to heaven if they pay their tithes?
Sheer blasphemy!
It’s just a baby step from;
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BE SAVED IF YOU DO NOT TITHE!!
To: IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BE LOST IF YOU PAY YOUR TITHES!!!
You heard it here first! It is the next logical step in the progression of the twisting of scripture, concerning the tithe.

Poor Paul that didn't pay his tithes:
[2Co 11:24-27 NKJV] 24 From the Jews five times I received forty [stripes] minus one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; 26 [in] journeys often, [in] perils of waters, [in] perils of robbers, [in] perils of [my own] countrymen, [in] perils of the Gentiles, [in] perils in the city, [in] perils in the wilderness, [in] perils in the sea, [in] perils among false brethren; 27 in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, i n hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness--
