Re: Welcome Home, David Wilkerson
I have read many of his books and sermons...Blow the trumphet in Zion and Sipping Saints are both very interesting.
He did an awesome job reaching young people. I have always thought of him as being REAL...

Re: Welcome Home, David Wilkerson
If you ever heard his message "Anguish" you could never forget it. Powerful!
He will be missed.

Re: Welcome Home, David Wilkerson
It kinda surprises me that on an "Apostolic" forum we don't have any posts denouncing David Wilkerson as a false prophet who believed in three gods and is now burning in hell.

If someone does, I will take issue with such men.
I could almost picture it. David walked into the presence of God, looked up, saw one on the throne, and said, "Wow, those Oneness folks were right after all." A loud voice cries out, "That's OK, a lot of folks who came to faith in Me got that part wrong. At least you did believe, you did preach My Gospel, and now, well done, good and faithful servant! Enter into the rest of Your Lord!"

From what I read in scripture, that might be close to what the early church gatherings probably looked like in the homes of the believers.

Re: Welcome Home, David Wilkerson
Just read this and am sorry to learn of the loss of what I consider a great man. No, didn't agree with some of his theology, but believe DW had a message the church needed to hear. His book, "Set the Trumpet to Thy Mouth" set my fields on fire several years. ago.

Re: Welcome Home, David Wilkerson
Mr Wilkerson will be sorely missed on this planet. I shed a few tears when I read this news. I've heard many of his sermons and they've inspired me so much. May the Lord bless him in eternity!
