I will be getting some Red Roses for my wife. When we were newly married, I in my youthful thinking brought home for my wife a gathering of flowers that were not Roses (not a wise think let me tell you).

Well after she finished beating over the head with the broom handle and through tears that were not joyful (I still get weapy and have a headache everytime I see a bouquet of flowers that are not Roses) that she "EXPECTS ROSES" from me!

Well let me tell you as one who sincerely not wanting to "break tradition" and keep the peace, I will get her Roses!

We have commitments tomorrow evening but will give the kids to someone and have a Dinner and night out at a later date!

Your Plans?
I think I need a dozen tiger lillies

If I bring home roses on Valentines day, I will get drilled with "why did you spend that much money! dont you KNOW they mark roses up on Valentines day???????

so I will come home today with...Gerber Daisies.

Nothing wrong with that - I love Gerbers.

I made an arrangement last night of Oriental Lilies and white Stock. It's all white, simple and elegant.

Just because I'm single doesn't mean I can't enjoy flowers on Valentine's Day.

I made heart shaped cookies and will share those at work

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I sent a beautiful card, stickers, and a gift card from Wal-mart to my red-headed grandaughters, Samantha & Tabitha. Sammie is Nana's angel, and Tabbie is Nana's star! They both have their special place in Nana's heaven!

Happy Valentine's Day to AFF members!

Love & Blessings, Rhoni

I agree with MrsFerd. I tell my husband not to buy me roses on valentines. They die in a few days and they aren't worth the mark up.

He bought me a gift certificate for an hour massage. I couldn't ask for anything better. :-)
