What Do You Plan On Doing For Your Sweetie?

Below is a list of Flowers and what they mean.

1. Rose (Love)
2. Orchid (A Belle)
3. Iris (My Compliments)
4. Calla Lily (?)
5. Sunflower (Pure thoughts)
6. Amaryllis (Splendid beauty)
7. Tulip (Declaration of love)
8. Carnation (Pride and beauty)
9. Hydrangea (Heartfelt)
10. Bird of Paradise (Joyfulness)

11. Chrysanthemum (Fidelity)
12. Daffodil (Chivalry)
13. Tiger Lily (I dare you to love me)
14. Anthurium (Hospitality)
15. Peony (Bashful)
16. Lilac (Youthful innocence)
17. Gerbera Daisy (?)
18. Anemone (Anticipation)
19. Aster (Patience)
20. Stargazer Lily (?)

I will be getting some Red Roses for my wife. When we were newly married, I in my youthful thinking brought home for my wife a gathering of flowers that were not Roses (not a wise think let me tell you).

Well after she finished beating over the head with the broom handle and through tears that were not joyful (I still get weapy and have a headache everytime I see a bouquet of flowers that are not Roses) that she "EXPECTS ROSES" from me!

Well let me tell you as one who sincerely not wanting to "break tradition" and keep the peace, I will get her Roses!

We have commitments tomorrow evening but will give the kids to someone and have a Dinner and night out at a later date!

Your Plans?

My Sweetie works a 12 hr graveyard shift tonight and tomorrow night. So, I bought him a card...I cannot think of what else to do for him right now! I bought him cologne for Christmas. We've been so busy on the house and trying to sell it, we haven't given a whole lot of thought toward Valentines day!

We do stuff all the time but it doesn't usually involve flowers.

Likewise. Valentines Day isn't a big deal to me.

That is so true!

I'm going to make my husband his favorite.... homemade tacos. (Hope he doesn't read this before tomorrow night.) This will be a real treat because we have been watching our diet and I haven't fixed tacos in months! I also got him a card and a special sweatshirt.. He is my very best friend and I love him dearly!

The doubled soft corn tortilla with grilled steak, and fresh salsa kind? Or the cali style fried tortilla with hamburger/chicken/or turkey kind? Both are tasty...if you say the "El Paso" kind...well...uh...never mind
