AWE! They are precious. I have had only one experience with puppies when my yorkie had four puppies. Only 3 made it, but Lacee, the momma did not like being a mother and would only get in the box to feed them. I had to keep them warm with a heating pad and became their surrogate mother. When it was all over, Lacee got spayed and I said never again!
Thanks! So far it's been an easy job...I don't know what I'm going to do once they're all moving around!!!!!
One of the puppies is starting to open his eyes (not quite...just barely cracked open)...I think by this time next week, we're going to really have our hands full.
A regular old playpen or two will help with keeping them corralled.
all you really need is a knapsack and a couple of bricks.
