My daughter and I watched. My hubby was watching CSI in the other room. I had him flip it to ABC so I could show him one of my internet friends!!
Cool.
Today my wife called me at work and said some people from TX found our house and asked if she and the girls would step outside for a picture.

So, Steve, you still helping Kristin around the house?
Have you moved the cradle back in your bedroom?
Still rockin on?
My mom didn't see it the first time, as we watched it together. She is conservative too and was amazed that Kristin sang in the bar.....LOL!
I shared with her the updates and pics and she is impressed. God can take anything and make good of it.
It was a pleasure watching the show and knowing you all. I've spoken with Tish on one occasion on another forum and she is terrific and had nothing but good to say about you all and the entire experience.

Helping around the house... I can say yes - including "Kristins Night Off." I do help much less around the house than I did when we were both employed with outside jobs. For example, I love to cook. But "I don't cook" because I don't have the time available. the bolded part didn't make the cut of course.
My wife wanted the cradle back in the nursery - her choice!
The bar scene... I had no qualms and was a little surprised Kristin did. She was concerned about what others (like your mom) would think. We regularly go to joints like Applebees or a live Jazz club/restraunt, so what is the difference?
One of my rule chages was to go to a bar with Tish. No problem... I drank about about 19 cups of coffee and had fun visiting with people. - they did not cover it because I complied without resisting it.
Tish and Tony are great people. We plan on getting together for a visit.

About the "division of labor" at our home..... these are Kristins by design.
I offered to bake bread a few times a week and show this as a part of the follow-up chages. Kristin's response was, "This house does not need two bakers!"
The truth is, I run a very demanding business, keep up the property (a 100 year old home requires alot of TLC) and own rental properties. At one time I had 15 tenants.
Kristin and I seldom disagree on our "division of labor" as she calls it. Because we live very agressive and scheduled lives, we have been able to travel internationally on many occaisions, even after Kristin became a stay-at-home-mom.
But yes, I am helping more around the house since Wife Swap!

Steve, honesty time.....did you ever put on the 'empathy suit'? LOL!
LOL!! I will never tell!
No. I offered to wear a 100 lb. bag of dog food in lieu of the the suit, the directors rejected the offer.

I loved how you left your guests at your house for Tish to tend to when she brought the keg in.....LOL!
I know that was for the show too.
Funny. Another "rule change" they did not show... If I boke any rule, my punishment would be to dress in a "traditional womens" clothing and go shopping at a local market. When I responded to rule changes as you saw, I was responding to that. I told them immediately I would simply not do that, nor would I do the "empathy suit" since they seemed to be going for some sort of crossdressing theme.
