okay. well saying there was physical trauma is not something i think is in dispute. So maybe that's why I was confused with how you were bringing it up.
Yes there was physical trauma. Yes, the neck and chest got compressed. We aren't denying that. You have even seen me say that such compressions could lead to a heart attack (with preexisting conditions) and explain why.
Now I suppose the question is: is it a crime for the cops to compress a guys neck and chest when arresting him especially when he is resisting arrest (even if doing so passively and non-violently).
In general, i think the answer is its not a crime. Because when the cop goes to place the suspect in a submission hold so that the suspect can be placed under arrest, chest and or neck compression will likely result.
