I WAS going to evacuate to Alex and glad we changed our minds as I understand they expect a Cat 3 storm there. It is now considered an impact area instead of relief area.

I pray we made the right decision to stay home.

Jonesville is not to far from Alexandria and even Shreveport is expecting a Cat 1 winds, so I would expect Jonesvillie will receive some damaging winds and rain.

We are hunkering down here in Lake Charles. My daughter went to Arkansas. Most of our family and neighbors are still here.

God bless and and mercy on our state and Mississippi too.

Guys if anyone in the La area or even the CenLa area needs a place to go... my best friends live in Bunkie area and are heading this way... if you need a place and want to follow them out this way you are more than welcome and we will find a place for you. Just let me know and I will get yall in touch! They are leaving town by 5 pm at the latest

Weather channel is now saying landfall is possible by 9am Monday. Much earlier than the 2pm landfall they have been saying before. Seems the storm has picked up a little speed.
