It is true, it is true. These kind are everwhere in the UPC movement and they are usually the product of a UPC bible college that teaches that ministry is above the saints and the ministry can do and say whatever they want to.

This kind of behavior is not as common as it used to be, but it does still exist! It is dwindling because we have wised up to the fact that our bible colleges are a waste of money with no accreditation, and we would rather our children get an education from which they can be marketable in the workplace and make good money to provide for their families and the church.

I was a little bit more than upset.

Oh, we've also had a preacher call Anna Nicole a whore from the pulpit.

I'm so thankful for the in depth teaching they have been receiving.
At our youth conference our young people were encouraged to go to college to be doctors-architechs-lawyers-employers. They were challenged to make the best grades in their class. Elder Alvear took his thought from the Hebrews
in Daniel. To excel in every part of their lives. However holiness was also preached and the preacher was right Anna Nicole was a tramp not an icon.

Right now in this area they are paying between $40-75.00 for a 50 minute counseling session. I made much more money as a Bachelor's level Social Worker.

I would pursue counseling in a school or after hours.

It makes me sad to know how long most of our Bible Colleges have been in existence and have not attained accreditation as of yet. I know that Gateway has been working in that direction but is still not there. I don't know if the others even care about it.

I do not think BC is worthless, however, if I had it to do over and Knew what I know now I would have attained an accredited degree first.

Nowhere on this thread have I stated that BC is worthless.

I stated that an unaccredited BC degree is worthless.

In reality, it may be slightly more valuable than that.
