Re: Hurricane Gustav

I may be wrong on who it was but wasnt Bro Whites church demolished before by one of the ones 3 yrs ago? I have just been really feeling to pray for all of our churches too! They say this one may be the biggest storm the US has ever seen... Our churches and the people in general suffered so much after Rita and Katrina... they cant afford this again...

My daughter is in a part of Ms that got hit sorta by Rita and pray for them because they dont have a running car even right now. I have called my mother in law and if it comes as far inland as they are suspecting she has assured me our aunt and uncle will go get her but its just hard knowing she is there w no car and no phone to know if she is safe or not.

Also my husbands rig.... thats another story we wont go into right now

Re: Hurricane Gustav

Anyone who is in the path of this storm should trade contact info with someone on here who you trust so that we have a contact who can let us know everyone is okay after the storm moves through.

Re: Hurricane Gustav

We are heading to Austin in the morning. Staying at our FIL's. We are on the west end, so unless it turns more this direction we will only get rain and some high winds.

Just have to add this tonight. Michael Moore is sick!!

Quote:
“I was just thinking, this Gustav is proof that there is a God in heaven,” Moore said, laughing. “To have it planned at the same time – that it would actually be on its way to New Orleans for day one of the Republican Convention, up in the Twin Cities – at the top of the Mississippi River.”
The clip is on the link.

Tina, that is a very good idea. I had been thinking the same thing earlier today. I'm glad you posted this.

AG, are you going to have time to keep up with everyone if you are the contact person? I'm not suggesting you shouldn't do it. But are you in the path of the storm yourself? Can we help you with this task? If you are able and want to do it, that's fine. If you want some help, I'll volunteer. Let me know, ok?
