That's right. Permanently banned. There are several ways in which to do this.

1. Start 18 threads questioning admin. Don't post dumb questions, but ones that will really get their goat, like:

Admin, if you make DA one of your admins, will your collective IQ finally hit 100?

or:

Admin, Thad told me that two of your male admins are gay. Is that true, or is it still three of you who are?

2. Start a thread with nothing but curse words. PM everyone the same starting post.

3. Start a thread that the core doctrine that is believed by all here is a fairy tale, and start several spam threads stating your position. When people refute your statements, claim to be personally attacked and summon the forum rules.

4. Post links to porn sites. If you sign on under other names and continue, this might get your IP banned.

5. When people post prayer requests, be sure and post that God doesn't listen to the prayers of sinners and they are wasting their time.



Anyway......this is just a few of the many ways to 'delete' one's account that might satisfy those who no longer want to post here.

Thanks Renda. I've broken several vows to myself to leave... so I won't be doing that again, it just makes me (or anyone) look foolish to say they will never return and then be back a few days/weeks/months later, either under the same name or a different name. Usually I will do pretty good for a few weeks, then something will happen to my family (who are still UPC) and it will make me mad and I have to come here to take it out on everyone. So I blow up... apologize, post for a few weeks, and then disappear, only to be doomed to repeat the cycle over and over again.

I've also found that it doesn't matter what name I use, within 3 or 4 posts people figure out who I am, and start calling me by my given name (which is not a secret, and I don't mind, I actually prefer to be addressed by my given name - but which I have not given out publicly to this audience in two or three years).

I think you do yourself a disservice.

And marginalizing your views with the "99.999%" comment is outrageous! Perhaps this is grounds for a ban?

Well, color me silly, but I think that's why many are here - - we need a place to come and vent. We've all been in the same boat at one time or another and that's the common bond here - - so and know you are a part of us!

Okay, so I like to exaggerate.

I would say that there are less than 10 people that post here that agree with 80% of my views.

I reserve the other 20% for my views that even the people who agree with me do not agree with. lol.

I have no way of estimating the lurkers though...
