It just cracks me up that people makes these kinds of posts, as if they are paying for it and want a refund.
I have a better solution for you folks who don't want to post here anymore, but feel that having an account here somehow forces you to post against your will.
Get permanently banned.
That's right. Permanently banned. There are several ways in which to do this.
1. Start 18 threads questioning admin. Don't post dumb questions, but ones that will really get their goat, like:
Admin, if you make DA one of your admins, will your collective IQ finally hit 100?
or:
Admin, Thad told me that two of your male admins are gay. Is that true, or is it still three of you who are?
2. Start a thread with nothing but curse words. PM everyone the same starting post.
3. Start a thread that the core doctrine that is believed by all here is a fairy tale, and start several spam threads stating your position. When people refute your statements, claim to be personally attacked and summon the forum rules.
4. Post links to porn sites. If you sign on under other names and continue, this might get your IP banned.
5. When people post prayer requests, be sure and post that God doesn't listen to the prayers of sinners and they are wasting their time.
Anyway......this is just a few of the many ways to 'delete' one's account that might satisfy those who no longer want to post here.

It would be something like:
1. Here is a list of all the networks I have access to the internet from (and the list will be quite long)
2. Please ban my user ID and also all of the networks listed above from accessing this site.
3. If my terms are not met, my very next post will contain a cuss word.
4. If my terms are still not met, I will continue to post cuss words until they are met.

On the old forum, I have sat for hours, manually deleting my posts one at a time (I deleted over 1000 posts this way on the original FCF). My reasoning was more that no one listens to anything I say anyway, so no one deserves access to anything that I might write. They have restricted that ability on this forum to a few hours so it wouldn't work here.
Now, I just rarely post anything serious because my views are so diametrically opposed to 99.999% of people in forums like this. I just make little annoying comments from time to time.
