Here's a network of house church Apostolics. I'm not very familiar with them yet. But I do see a model like this in the future, if churches want to continue to preach the truth:

http://eojc.org/

Here are two excerpts from their constitution:

2.Heads of households, elders, preachers, teachers, or leaders of any other title are to be unpaid. However, unsolicited freewill offerings (particularly for itinerant ministers) are acceptable. The Bible does teach it is good and acceptable to give to those who minister the word (1 Cor. 9:7-14, 1 Pet. 4:8-11) but that doesn’t mean it also gives those same ministers the authority to set their wages and thus become hirelings (John 10:12-13) or extortionists (1 Cor 5:11). Thus we interpret “To live of the gospel” (1 Cor. 9:14) to mean having faith in God for His providence, not faith in a salaried position. Those who feel led of the Lord to give (2 Cor. 9:7), are further admonished to “know those who labor among you” (1 Thess 5:12).

5.The Ekklesia of Jesus Christ reserves the right to function as a religious network of Christian believers without government intervention and regulation. Since we receive our authority from God and not from man, we will not seek to be recognized by any federal government as an officially incorporated institution.
Nice.

Re: Pastors forced to perform same-sex marriages

I really dont think this will be an issue here. Why would a gay couple force some minister to marry them that doesnt want to? There are plenty of ministers that would want to. Also wouldnt this violate freedom of religion?

Why would a gay couple want to force either a flourist or a baker to take part in their ceremonyif they didn't want to?

I have no idea. But I could see the stink raised over a business discriminating.

There is the key issue. Likening homosexuality to racism.
Not even close...

Care to explain? I think I know what you mean. Your race is your race. You have no choice in that. Sexuality you have a choice. That being said, religion is a protected class for which you cant discriminate against. Discriminating against an adult who chooses to have a relationship with another adult, is not American. Again, unless you want to go back to the days when interracial marriages were outlawed.

Re: Pastors forced to perform same-sex marriages

I feel like here I go again...
Why would you again try to bring race into this?
And why would you try to frame me as racist?
Now try to stay on topic.
I assume that you approve of same-sex marriage, from your comments.
So, how do you feel about multiple partner marriages?
So long as they consenting, it should be ok, right?

Our Constitution, if interpreted rightly, would prevent it. But nothing's safe any more.
