McCain Refuses to Endorse Palin in 2012

Of course McCain is NOT going to endorse Palin ahead of time. I listened to the interview. That is the norm. Why, when others are making their way on the scene would he endorse her ahead of time - set the deal, keep the focus on her? It's just not done.

I didn't hear or see anything in the interview that gives the impression of him turning on her. If it is viewed in that way, it's need to be reviewed again.

1) John McCain NEVER turned on Palin-- you can believe that!

2) The Bible speaks about why a Spiritual Leader should not be a novice. Palin has demonstrated why that spiritual truth has a natural counterpart that is just as true.

I don't think she's loyal. I really don't.

For a GOP that's hallmarks include loyalty, she has put herself out of favor (for now) with the folks that can help her in the future.

McCain is very intuned to how the political world works. He knows what is being said about him and Palin. To calm the rumors, he could have said that he might endorse her, but it was still too early to tell. Instead he gave no hint at all that he ever would. That is why Stephanopoulos asked McCain about why he changed from a month ago.

Look, I do not have a dog in this fight. I just thought it was an interesting interview that some on here would like to know about.

I think we'd all do well to take McCain's advice. He reportedly also said these statements during that same interview:

"In all due respect to the Republican National Committee and anybody - right now, I think we should try to be working constructively together, not only on an issue such as this, but on the economy stimulus package, reforms that are necessary,"


"Look, the president of the United States has been selected. It’s time for us all to join behind him and help however we can. These are challenging times."
