whattttt?!!! i hope this isn't true. if so, that's one of the stupidest things i've ever heard. like one time someone told me that they felt like a divorce "didn't count" if it occurred before those people "got in church". PUUUULEEAASSSEEEE!
ok...i guess all those old testament marriages/divorces didn't count either because none of those people were baptized in Jesus name and didn't have the Holy Ghost.
No, he was saying that unless you are in the body of Christ and are saved you have no business getting married. People in the world shouldn't get married. I disagree with his view because marriage is honorable. There isn't any scripture that supports his view.
I've never heard that doctrine before... interesting and erroneous I would say. And he has no scripture he uses?

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

I have heard of this before and someone actually wrote a book (well if you would call it a book it was more like a mini book.) about this Its totally off the wall stuff... I am trying to remember where I saw the book and author... The person who wrote this book however had one totally out of context scripture he used to back this entire belief and it had nothing to do with it... just cant for the life of me right now remember the author..

It's a new one to me... kinda thankful.
What kind of a label does this preacher wear Warrior? Pentecostal?

The one I speak of yes... he claims to be apostolic LOL... I called my dad to ask him to try and remember the author of the book... he thinks his sister actually still owns the book and is trying to find out! its just wild...
But some people if they believe something no matter how wrong or right will go to whatever lengths to justify it as we all know too well... thats the sad part

I don't want to hijack this thread... but there was a man between here and the north pole who believed every sickness was a demonic spirit that had to be cast out. He wrote a book as well. He was Apostolic... had left the UPC though. There are some "wonderful" revelations out there.

I've mentioned in the past that you could literally write a computer program which generated "random" doctrine by placing random words and phrases together, and if you really tried, you could twist enough scripture to make a case for it.

Yes indeed.... I went thru my "dads" library when he retired his church... of course you know pastors get sent every book in the world... oh Lord you could never imagine the things we found! He actually had one section of books that... he had the catagory named... Dont read these books LOL.... He said that was his amusement section ROFL
I think if we were really that desperate we could change scripture around to be anything we wanted... thank God most of us know better than to do this!!!!

I could have fun with a program like that...
In Bible College we found scripture supporting the existance of Santa Claus... wish I could remember the scriptures now.
