Just keep in mind that hurricane or tropical force winds are not the only worries. Remember all the tornadoes that were spawned by Katrina in Mississippi and elsewhere? And flooding...

I guess I'm just a big scaredy-cat. LOL!!! I'd board up my house and go two states away just to put a good distance between myself and the storm.

I was born and raise in Port Arthur, Texas not to far over the State line from Lake Charles. We are aware of the bad things that come along with hurricanes....we where without electricity after Rita for about 5 days. That was not fun. We'll most likely leave if they have a mandatory evacuation. Remember us in prayer. We're well provisioned. Just paid the first mortgage payment on the house yesterday....glad that includes insurance. I told some co-workers that was what was attracting the storm right to our house....

Bro. Skluzachek (sp) is an awesome guy. I might be around to help him out somewhat.

Yes he does seem to be. Met him once and was very impressed! Look at my profile pic and look at the 2 oldest kids in it. If we arent all there at least find them and say hey! We are all planning on going unless something major comes up here
