We are sons of God, so yes God is our Father. This is not so much discussing the Father/Son relationship brought about by the incarnation. Jesus never claimed to be the Father of the only begotten Son.

I never said this. My initial post was "did not Jesus say he is our Father?"
According to Rev 1:8-11, Jesus is the Alpha and Omega and in Rev 21:6-7, he says we are his sons.

Correct. I posted on the fly and read your post in view of the thread subject matter rather than what you were responding to.

Does Jesus know the day of his coming?
If yes, does this imply He is the Father?
If no, then Jesus is not the omniscient (all knowing) God that oneness and trinitarians claim He is.
So does Jesus know the day?

After all, we identify ourselves as "one God" believers. All the while we misunderstand the multi-faceted God we serve while claiming to know every detail. Sometimes we speak and act as if we understand it all and actually have the God of the universe all figured out. The Word in flesh IS a great mystery. How it happened and the particulars are really beyond human comprehension. Though we pigeon-hole the godhead into oneness "sound bites", it is never quite that simple. (I will now default to Deut 6:4).

For a more formal discussion and my translation notes, see The Godhead Thread. There is also a down load note (attachment) in the second post you might find interesting.
I like you deferring to De 6:4. You might also like to review Deut 6:4 Translation Notes
These two references are somewhat incomplete due to loosing my computer and back up files a year ago.
There is also a very nice, one page write up on the Jewish view of the oneness of God at Three in One?, written by a friend of mine, Dr. Robert Allon.

I figured out the time. It will be the 2 pm hour. Some one else will have to figure out the day, month and year.
