UPC Pastoral Prediction Thread
This thread is intended to encompass all wings of the United Pentecostal Church.
Who do you think are the most likely canidates from the mod / lib wing and then from the conservative / ultra con wing to leave the safety of the glorious "Ark"?
I will start the ball rolling with my predictions;
From the lib wing I would have to say Rex Johnson and Ron Liles
From the ultra con wing I would have to say some of the Western District WAG pastors (whiners agaiinstvideoscreens group)
Oh, and also from the ultra con wing I would say Kansas Preacher, Wholehearted, and a couple of other disgruntled AFF pastor posters who whine about how liberal the UPC is. Also possibly Coonskinner now that his high paying job as a district youth official has ended.

I notice you started the thread off by insulting the cons but not the libs. Go figure. Why the name calling....whiners etc ? Why start this thread at all since for someone to state what they think another will do would only be heresay anyway.

RJ has been on the way out ... yesterday.
KP, Wholehearted and ... surprise prediction .... DeaconBlues are poised to walk if things don't swing their way.
Coonskinner does not have the intestinal fortitude to walk.

Why would I insult those fine men who share more of my point of view?
Elder Epley hit the nail on the head when he said that for some people the ultra cons leaving over TV is sour grapes but those who left over the affirmation statement were men of principle and visionaries!!!

I think it will pass with very minimal fallout (less than five percent). No left/right wing splitting. etc.
As an alternative... a compromise may be reached - to allow advertising a professional (headquarters produced) ad to run with local churches adding their information.
This of course would only delay the soon coming open door policy to allow advertising and ministering on TV.

I know some have discussed this possibility - but I don't know that they were brainstorming in an official capacity...

Hey Bubba, Don't turn this into another resolution discussion thread!!!!
This is a thread strictly about lib and con preacher predictions that may or may not be affected by any resolutions at GC.
Just overall who do you think are the most likely canidates from each camp to leave the Ark?
(BTW - You are wrong about the resolution passing.)

Quite a few NCO people will walk ...
Some notables that I've mentioned are in the NCO/AWCF thread.
