Thankfully, that it has come down and remained in the normal range.
Still in an ER staging room (since 11:45pm last night), waiting for a room to open upstairs.
She had an IV put just below her wrist. Unfortunately, the first line didn't work - couldn't hit the vein. So they had to do the other arm.
They have her on two antibiotics, Ampicillin and Cefotaxime.
She's been sleeping well since the spinal tap.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. You made the best decision you could have made at the time.

Should've stuck with my first thought of no vaccines. I'm angry with myself.
No more vax, not after this.

Re: ILG - Vaccine Hysteria
Had measles as a child as did all of my classmates and brother and sister. If anyone ever had complications it was not publicized.
Also had mumps. In fact my sister and I got mumps and then graciously shared with my mother. But it's bad for adults. She was quite sick so my sister and I were farmed out to my aunt and uncle for a week or two.
I was 4 years old. Apparently I couldn't tie my shoes and my aunt thought I should know how. So she taught me! Years later a family member was tying their shoes and as I observed them I told them they did it wrong. ( I must have been bored) After a big family discussion Everyone had to tie their shoes________and guess who was the odd man out So I tie my shoes "wrong"!!! I guess in our new society I just follow a different drummer.

Re: ILG - Vaccine Hysteria
My children had their vaccines in the 70's but their was no discussion or information.
In the 80's my dad advised me against it. He followed the alternative medicine publications and avoided doctors and medications.
My daughter is anti vax so the grandkids have not had recent vaccinations.

I did forego the Hep B for both my kids when they were young until we moved to WI and they had to get it for school. (Didn't really know my choices)
There are so many things to consider concerning vaccines. Have you read The Virus and the Vaccine? http://www.amazon.com/The-Virus-Vacc.../dp/0312342721 It has been kept SO quiet that the polio vaccine was proven to contain a cancer causing virus.
The MMR is cultured from a cell line derived from aborted fetuses. On a very quick search ( I give no backing for or against this site) https://www.cogforlife.org/vaccineListOrigFormat.pdf and according to this site it looks like there are a lot more of them
The autism debate rages about the MMR. CDC says no correlation but if there were a proven correlation there would be mutiny.
Manufacturers CANNOT BE SUED if anything goes wrong!! No accountability!!
Some feel that vaccines are being used to produce infertility.

Always like your contributions on things like this, ILG! I agree with you. If I was forced to vaccinate, I would spread it out.
It looks like the Libertarians in the country are the only people fighting for our rights.
This article is interesting. And more interesting because Sharyl Attkisson is on the story.
Quote:
Obama Grants Immunity to CDC Whistleblower on Measles Vaccine Link to Autism
February 7, 2015
While most of the mainstream media was ignoring this story, independent journalist and former CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson called Dr. Frank DeStefano, the CDC Director of Immunization Safety, who was a co-author with Dr. William Thompson in the 2004 CDC study on the MMR vaccine, and asked him some questions about the concealed data Dr. Thompson had revealed.
She recorded her phone call and posted it on her website here.
http://sharylattkisson.com/audio-cdc...link-omission/
Attkisson asked the CDC director why the excluded data linking the measles vaccine to autism in African American boys would not be important enough to investigate further, since it contained such a higher rate of autism. Dr. DeStefano’s reply was very typical of the bias that currently exists among CDC scientists when it comes to autism:
you know, autism, as you probably are aware, is a condition that really probably has its start while the child is still in the womb. And, you now, it doesn’t, some of the behaviors and such don’t come apparent, become apparent until maybe the child is one, two, three years old.
In other words, they believe autism is completely due to genetic factors, and not environmental factors. Of course, this theory of the genetic cause of autism lends itself to billions of dollars in drug research, even though it contradicts both scientific evidence, as well as the experience of many tens of thousands of parents who saw their completely normal child rapidly digress shortly after receiving vaccines. Even the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program has paid out damages to children with autism as a result of vaccines, including the measles MMR vaccine.

Good news, they don't think she has UTI. Cultures have come back okay. Will likely be released tomorrow. No high temps since just past midnight.

Re: ILG - Vaccine Hysteria
That links basically says the vaccine shortened the incubation period of an already existing disease...
In other words the disease would have done its trick eventually but supposedly the vaccine just sped it up.
