We did get to church this morning (19 miles round trip). There was a small amount of snow and ice on the ground and on the roads. We stopped at a local restaurant for Sunday dinner (pork roast with apple and walnut garnish, potatoes and green band) since we got one meal free because it's my birthday this month. Right now the temperature is around 23 degrees and it is snowing pretty hard with a couple of inches on the ground. We're in for the day, we hope. When the snow stops unless some neighborhood kid comes along and shovels ($20 dollars is the going fee), I will have to work at it in stages to get the driveway and front walkway (from driveway) plus the front porch clear. People here do not shovel the sidewalks down by the street. At my age (73) and with a heart condition and a lung/breathing problem I have to take my time shoveling and do it in several stages.
