Midwest Weather Mess

I know there are a few from the midwest states on the forum.
Care to check in and tell us how things are going for you?

CNN is reporting The Cedar River has overflown and 4000 homes have been evacuated in Cedar Rapids.

Re: Midwest Weather Mess

It is kinda crazy when Canada starts getting them. Thankfully nothing much in my area that is out of the ordinary.

If there were any major damage, the government would kick in some relief, yes.

Re: Midwest Weather Mess

In Wisconsin we had a lake drain when the flood waters carved out a new path to the river. People were carrying fish that were left behind to the river. This is the lake that took five houses with it. You may have seen that on the news.

By us interstates are being closed because the rivers are only inches from the bottom of the bridges.

In a town up the road from us kids were catching fish in nets on main street.

Ours roads here took a beating from the snowfall this year and now the ones that aren't repaired yet are breaking up even more from the force of all the drainage water.

Do they have home clinics? How long are the lines?

And Why do you people always make it about you?!

This is about the Midwest--

Yes I saw the pictures of houses floating away on CNN.com.
We had severe flooding here this year... but not like what the Midwest USA is facing right now.

Hey, we know more and care more about you Americans than you'll ever know or care about us!
