God condemns sin. Man sinned. Go figure.
Dan 9:19 KJV O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.
Amo 7:2 KJV And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
Num 30:5 KJV But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.
Psa 86:5 KJV For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
The entire NEW COVENANT is based upon God forgiving.
Jer 31:34 KJV And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for
I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
How can anyone ask if God forgives or not when God Himself said He does?
