God condemns sin. Man sinned. Go figure.

Dan 9:19 KJV O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.

Amo 7:2 KJV And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.

Num 30:5 KJV But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.

Psa 86:5 KJV For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

The entire NEW COVENANT is based upon God forgiving.

Jer 31:34 KJV And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

How can anyone ask if God forgives or not when God Himself said He does?

Is our mere mortality considered condemnation? The flesh

First, do you agree the Lord forgives according to those verses I cited? That is your whole point, and it appears like you are trying to circumvent those plain statements, and reason it out that something is offkey. God forgives, brother. Period. Mortality has nothing to do with the fact that God forgives. Why are you asking about mortality when the answer as to whether he forgives is plainly written in scripture?

If God forgives us, then he had to condemn us. That is what I'm saying, and asking you if this is true?

Re: God does not forgive, because he never condemn

Did God condemn humanity from birth? If he didn't then why should he and how could he forgive something he didn't condemn. I'm just asking you to put a little more thought into it, it's not so black and white, explain the purpose behind the scripture. don't just say Jesus was baptized so we need to baptize.......I want to know how did he baptize. Thats just an example Do you understand?

I am asking if you agree with the scriptures that state God said he forgives? Let's start with the facts. We are not meant to reason out if something is true before we can say God forgives. I think that is going at it backwards. We have to find what facts are stated in scripture and then work from there. The facts are that God forgives.

Jer 31:34 KJV And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Re: God does not forgive, because he never condemn

Bro., you said "God does not forgive, " and Jeremiah 31:34 shows God saying "I will forgive." Cannot get any plainer that that.

In short, that original statement you introduced cannot be true since the bible says God forgives.

Psa 103:2-3 KJV Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: (3) Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Correction, I never said anything one way or the other. I want to see what you think about this statement. I didn't create this statement, I'm interested to see if others believe it is true or not, and then prove it.
