I've shouted when it wasn't a show (a few times, at least). So I know it isn't always. But I would have been at least as happy kneeling or on my face before God as I was dancing and jumping around.

It's hard to understand why we think its ok to be anything but considerate in worship! But, I do understand what you are saying. I've been in services where holes were put in the walls, people knocked over by some runner, and kids crying because they were afraid. When we went to certain churches, I learned to try to sit as much in the middle of the pew as possible where it was safer and was harder for them to get to me!
I think God notices those of us who are quiet in worship as much as He notices those who are extremely expressive!
